What Are Microgreens?

Microgreens are young vegetable greens that fall somewhere between sprouts and baby leaf vegetables. They have an intense aromatic flavor and concentrated nutrient content and come in a variety of colors and textures. Microgreens are considered baby plants, falling somewhere between a sprout and baby green.

Our microgreens are grown in Certified Organic Coconut Coir. They are harvested around 7-14 days old. Not only are they tender and flavorful, but they are also packed full of nutrients.

In 2012, a nutritional study by the University of Maryland found that microgreens were 4-40 times more nutrient dense than their mature counterparts.

Microgreens are very versatile and can be used in pretty much any dish. You can add them to soups, salads, or sandwiches for an extra burst of flavor. Add them to smoothies or juices - or just as a snack on their own!
